CLUB PROPERTIES

Members have access to Club Hunting Properties once certified as competent by our trainers.

For beginners and new Members, we also offer training on Properties and in State Forest.

Unlike many other Clubs, we do not charge Members to hunt on Club Properties. 

LICENCE GENUINE REASON

Membership of the Club can be used as the Recreational Hunting & Vermin Control Genuine Reason for a NSW Firearms Licence. We offer at least 12 events each year so Members can easily achieve their 2 event licence requirment.

We are also an Approved Hunting Club for R Licence purposes. Membership of an Approved Hunting Club is mandatory to hold an R Licence to access State Forest.

TRAINING

We have several Members authorised to conduct Firearms Safety Testing for a Firearms Licence as well as R Licence testing.

More importantly, we offer hands-on training at the Nowra Rifle Range and hunter education in the field. Members also get to access the range for $5 on range days vs the regular $30. 

RAFFLES & MORE

Each year, Members who attend the AGM go into the running for the Club raffle. It has a prize pool worth over $3,000 including a rifle package.

We also have a photo competition with monthly entries and prizes at the AGM for the best photos. The photo competition also counts as a Club event!
